I know how you feel; we never need this kind of thing.  Try to stay optimistic, he's going into the vet and hopefully you'll have some answers and ways to help Dukee soon.  Maybe I jump to IBD easily turn because of my experience with Gypsy, but the fact that he is neg and only 3 years old does indicate it with his symptoms.  Unfortunately, IBD is one of those "catch all" terms that doctors place on a problem that they can't find any other answers for, which means lots of testing.  The good news is that at his age it probably isn't cancer, the bad news is that whatever is causing him to "lose weight like crazy" needs to be addressed.  Is he eating okay, but still losing weight?  If so it would seem he's not being able to absorb nutrients.  Sometimes vita B injections help with that.  What is he eating?  Get him off dry food, if you are feeding him that.  You might consider trying a raw diet for him to see if it makes a difference.  There is a product (TC Instincts, http://www.felinefuture.com/products/order.php), you can buy with all the sups to mix with muscle meat.

Prayers for Dukee to feel better soon and for strength and courage to help you through this.  Please let us know what the vet says and how the two of you are doing,
Nina

Hi guys,
Please wish my boy "Dukee" luck. He is going in to the Vet today for vomiting clear fluids and losing weight like crazy.
He has been tested for Felv/Fiv in the past. He was negative.
He is a Ragdoll mix was a rescue of mine when I got him at the age of 5-6 weeks of age. He is now 3 years old.
I don't need this right now on top of losing Sam back in March. This has been a crappy year for us with our move and all. I'm sure a few of you remember my disaster moving to my property.
Please send your awesome prayers and thoughts our way!
Thanks!
