Thank you Sherry. It is a selfless, and sometimes painful, act of love
to bring compassion and joy to their lives, but so very important to
each little fur being you touch. Thank Goodness you are able to find
the strength to keep on giving. Please be careful to allow some balance
in your life. Sometimes we need a break in order to rejuvenate and not
burn out. Speaking of balance, how is Tristan doing?
The support of this group absolutely does help with the things I go
through too. Having an understanding and compassionate partner is
something I include when counting my blessings, it makes a huge
difference when you have someone to share the highs as well as the lows
with.
Your short description of Max, "sweet buff boy" brought an image that
made me feel closer to him, thank you for that. It's a double edged
sword, but if I had my choice about how I leave this world, I'd want to
be healthy with a quick decline. Blessings to you and Roy and prayers
for Joy. Does Jen have Joy on lysine? The ulcers must be painful, poor
little baby.

Hi Nina,I believe one of the things that helps me deal with the grief
of losing so many sweet babies is the kind words and support from all
you wonderful people on this list. That and knowing that I was lucky
enough to be able to love them when no one else would.I also have more
that need my love and I can't give up on them.
You haven't heard anything about sweet buff boy Max cause he has been
pretty healthy up until recently. He was a gentle sweet soul. When I
told Roy about him leaving us,all he could say was "poor Max".He
really like him very much.He goes there with me often and he exercises
the fur kids with the lazer light and helps me hand out treats. He is a
kind hearted man.Thank you for asking about this.
