I don't have any advice to offer regarding the puking, although some cats
just naturally puke more than others. Since Tsunade yaks up different stuff
at different times, maybe she just hasn't learned to multitask. Have you
figured out if the food she pukes is one particular kind? I had a cat once
who couldn't keep down liver flavored food (and who could blame him?)

For the pee, the antibacterial won't keep her from revisiting the spot. You
need to use a specialized pet-odor enzyme cleaner. You can find them at any
pet store, or online. I've never used it, but I hear that "Anti-Icky-Poo"
is a godsend. www.antiickypoo.com.

I hope this helps. Best of luck with Tsunade and hope your boyfriend's cat
stays well enough to stay away from the vet.

Subject: Tsunade

Hello, 1st I d like to say that I get the digest and I am getting emails
in order. 2nd to Wendy, yes I know Yum-yums its a town classic afterall
and I am a UNCG student.

Now, on to Tsunade. She is due in 2 weeks to get a booster shot, $22.00.
She has always vomitted more tham normal (sometimes food chunks,
sometimes spit and fur). after she git fixed (oct 9) she took extra time
in recovering from the anasthetic. She was fine and playful until last
friday when she started puking again. This weeked she puked 3 times
(only 1 was the food chunks). She has been a bit lethargic and not
eating anything (usually when she pukes food chunks- she stops eating for
a day). Also Fri, she must have peed on the side of her litter box, so
it ran down the side and made a stream on the floor. I cleaned it up
with a antibacterial cleaner (no ammonia). She peed in the same spot 3
more times, I have now moved the litter box about 2 feet so that it is
completely over the spot. She is also due for a fecal $20.00. She was
dewormed with a general dewormer. I plan to get digest-a-meal and salmon
oil. How do vets determine if there is a urinary tract infection? What
is prednisolone used for?(I know prednisone will sometimes jump start and
appetite). Where is the cheapest place to get prednisonlone? She is
eating junk food now , but I plan to change over to science diet dry and
fancy feast medleys (these smell better than other wet foods) soon as my
next paycheck is Nov. I am in college with 2 little part time jobs so I
only make 300-500 a month and there are bills. 1 little job is selling
stuff on ebay. With halloween (treats & prizes) and Christmas (stocking
stuffers and gifts) coming up would anyone on this list be interested in
purchasing some collectables?? I have fast food toys, yugi-oh, pokemon,
naruto, other trading cards, Ty beanies, and some other toys as well. My
prices are cheap and some of the stuff is being sold for my boyfriend and
his sick cat Tigger - hes 15, kidney problems, fine for the moment, but
could need vet at any time. If anyone is interested please let me know
by private email. I want to keep Tsunade, but if she keeps throwing up
and peeing, she will not be able to live with me in a house or apartment
when I move (in about a year). Right now she is kept (no other cats) in
the screen porch so there is tile and she cant ruin any furniture. Not
to mention, possible vet expensives getting large. any help is
appreciated.
thanks
Chelsea and Tsunade
