Do you do home BG testing between blood curve tests at the vet's
office? You use a home meter and you prick the eartip and get a very tiny
blood droplet. Here's some info about that:

to home BG test)
http://maxshouse.com/bgtest[1].mpg (video
of the process)

about home diabetes care for cats)
Note that many of the very well put together websites on blood glucose
testing in cats are STILL not up to date to reflect the fact that there IS NOW a
home BG meter that is ACCURATE for cats. So, if you read a site saying that
meters are not accurate, assume they were written by someone using a HUMAN meter
on a cat, and that is unaware of the fact that PET meters now exist. http://www.abbottanimalhealth.com/vetProfessionals/products/DiabetesMonitoring/index.htm (new
meter just for pets)

Oh, check this out... this would be handy, we were just talking about
collecting urine samples on this list yesterday!
