Do you do home BG testing between blood curve tests at the vet's office? You use a home meter and you prick the eartip and get a very tiny blood droplet. Here's some info about that:

Note that many of the very well put together websites on blood glucose testing in cats are STILL not up to date to reflect the fact that there IS NOW a home BG meter that is ACCURATE for cats. So, if you read a site saying that meters are not accurate, assume they were written by someone using a HUMAN meter on a cat, and that is unaware of the fact that PET meters now exist.
