LOL!!! At least she didn't call you slow! I worked many years ago at an art supply store with my mom. We didn't advertise that we were related, so many people didn't know. I eventually moved into outside sales of engineering supplies for the company. My mom was still working in the store. A former employee came in one day to visit, and was asking who still worked there. My mom said "Beth is still here, she's in sales now." He said "Hmmm, Beth, oh yeah, she was the tall one that was kind of slow?" This from somebody who looked like Lurch and had a personality to match! (I'm may not be a genius, but I actually liked Calculus and am addicted to reading.) Maybe he meant street smarts, of which I admit I am lacking, or social intelligence, though I had to be at least a little better than him on that! My mom thought it was funny, but kept a very serious straight face and said "That's my daughter." He had no idea we were related and was mortified!
