I'm so sorry to hear this about Scooter. I was hoping for the best, but I guess it just wasn't going to be. The important thing, at this point, is just to make sure he's comfortable, and surrounded by love as much as you can provide. Treasure every second you have, and lock it into your memory tightly, and you'll always have a piece of Scooter in your heart, so he will never really die.
It is hard, but with a circle of people to surround with their kind wishes, it's easier to deal with in this group than it could ever be without it.
