i've only been in the area for 23 years, and in rescue for eight--and NEVER knew they did this.... never seen any reference on any of the statewide lists, so don't know if it's a new policy, if they don't work with rescues, or what.....

That's wonderful! I wish more vet schools would do this... most of the research animals end up just euth'ed after they are done with them.
