The first link I sent was from a vets website and my vet has told me
the same thing. Like anything it may not harm every cat the first time
it's used but my thinking is if it could be poisonous it isn't worth the
risk to me. I am going to ask my vet about it again, it is on some
lists and not on others.

I'll do some research on it, but I've never heard that. In fact, I
heard the opposite, that it was safe for them to ingest. I can tell
you that it didn't hurt Gypsy.
