That applies to ALL cats, not just FELV+ ones. CATS in general (and dogs too, for that matter), can carry things immuno-compromised humans may be more apt to catch, like worms, protozoan infections, toxoplasmosis, and just germs in general. The FELV has no effect on that matter. Yes, cornell has some very outdated and useless info. The lady seems set on dumping her cats... maybe they are better off without her if she's so closed-minded about it.
