my final take is similar--that the CHANGE in types/locations of lymphomas, from those previously associated with FeLV, was due to the increase in FeLV vaccinations and the decrease in those specific types. But this is kind of a circular thing: The vaccine has decreased the incidence of lymphoma in cats, yet the virus itself used in the vaccine CAUSES cancer.
