Thank all of you for the well-wishes and prayers! Pippin is home from her spay and doing well :) She is supposed to be "resting" in her crate, however, I think she'd like nothing better than to be out and about by the way she is acting (pretty much her usual self.) I wonder if it's because she's on pain medication and doesn't know she needs to take it easy? At any rate, the vet said she could have a little bit to eat tonight, so I fed her a generous teaspoon of gourmet food I bought her (just in case I needed to entice her to eat.) I walked into the kitchen to get her water bowl, and by the time I walked back, it was gone! She'd inhaled it! My poor baby was very hungry. I am going to give her another portion before we go to bed. Pippin goes back to the vet tomorrow morning so they can check her incision. I'll keep you posted as to how she is recovering in the days to come. Thank you! Gina and Pippin
