Thanks for all of your replies, I'd love to hear about successes in treating FELVs where the cat's bone marrow is no longer producing red cells- the vets are supportive, BUT don't offer much hope. Of course, the literature doesn't either. I won't put the cat down as long as he's not in distress/pain, and he's happy.
