Well, if she could ask the lady specifically what BREED the cats are, there are breed rescues. I'm betting they are Bengals (the most common wild hybrid) or Pixie Bobs, the only breed that has "bob" in the name and that many people ASSUME are bobcat crosses because of the name, but they aren't. And she's right, being locked in a tiny dark storage shed is MUCH worse than euthanasia.
