Have you used a black light to see if it's ringworm? 
Are they perfectly round, and kinda red?  Also, my
Julie got a bald spot on her head from scratching as a
reaction to her hyperT meds.  We had to take her
completely off, go transdermal, and lower the dose,
and now she's fine.
