HI, I don't usually use pred until I absolutely have to as it is immunosuppressant --- Michelle, if she is eating, you might want her allow her body to fight this off for a while -as sometimes, it takes for a few days to fight it off, too.

I am bringing her to the vet at 5 for an IV I-R shot. she is eating and grooming, but lethargic. I asked the vet about using dex and he said he wants me to up her pred a little instead. not sure why.
