i heard the most interesting thing on the news the other day. they have found that in patients who have had a stroke and had something damaged called the 'insula', in their brain, that when they came out of the stroke, they no longer craved cigarettes. so now they think that the insula may somehow control cravings/addictions, and are doing research on how to 'damage' it. i thought it was VERY interesting!
