Kelly It sounds like Big D has a long and wonderful life. He is now at peace. You are a wonderful person for lokking after so many kitties. My prayers are with you.
Thanks for helping me with Junior. I have an actual appointment for him in March. So far all his vet appointments have been a reaction to his secondary infections. I should get to talk to her about the interferon. I know she read the paper. I think he is doing well on the Transfer Factor Plus. He still has inflammation in his eye. Big D (Big Daddy is at rest now) I took him to my vet....he went cuddled up in a box with his blanket..He had buprenex on board so he was in no pain,, they have a special room,,,,warm and welcoming and a special table with a wonderful fleecy through. She gave him a sedative and he just relaxed and closed his eyes getting lots of cuddles and pets,,, after a few minutes and again reviewing all the labs to make 100 % sure she gave the the pink resting juice and he never flinched,, Just warm and safe and at peace, I am Sad but I feel a sense of peace that I was able to give him this final gift, he had a wonderful long life,,,,,,he was content and happy and I can say that in 20 years he never had to suffer,,What a special thing. Thanks to all of you Kelly
