As others have said, he may still have a UTI. He may not have gotten enough or the right antibiotics the first time.
My last uti cat started out on amoxicillin, had another urinalysis, still had bacteria. Went on something else (don't remember what), another urinalysis, still had bacteria. Sent a culture out for further analysis, nothing grew. We decided it was probably behavioral at that point, he's on elavil now, really hoping it works. *This does not always happen, I think this kitty is upset because I do rescue and have lots of cats in the house. Ok, Midnight has been fixed and is done with his antibiotics for the UTI. He is still peeing but only on my 5 year old comforter. My son is in pull ups at night. Is it possible that he is trying to mark over the scent of my son? That is the only thing I can think of. I am keeping the door closed and not letting midnight in that room. Thanks in advance!
