to interpret the package you look at 2 measurements. One is you need to see how many mgs (milligrams of medication) are in each ml or cc which is the same thing, then you get your cats weight,,, According to all i see here each ml contains 25 mgs of clindamycin. the recommended dosage is 1-3 ml (which is 25-75 mgs per 5 lbs so technically a 10 lb cat should get 50-225 mgs once each day ,so Sally was right in that 25 mgs is on the low side, but that is what was prescribed for an oral infection on a CRF kitty that sadly did not make it.
Hope that makes a bit of sense^&^%&????
Hi Lynette

My Cat Junior was given 25 mg (1dropperful) daily for a URI. It took a while but it did clear it up. Junior weighs 11lbs. The information on the package is rather confusing it talks in mg and ml. As best I i read it 1 ml contains 25mg of Clindamycin. It looks like the dose my cat got was on the low end for his weight. The package indicate 1-3 ml per 5lbs of body weight. I am thinking someone else here may better interpret this.
