Year ago I accidentally took a pill that was being given to one of my
cats for something. It was being given to him for some persisting
problem that he had but its normal use had something to do with feline
procreation. Anyway I took it by accident. I called Poison Control too &
they laughed & said I'd be fine, but that I didn't have to worry about
having kittens for a while!

A tinky taste is one thing ... I absentmindedly took the cat's 22mg
Baytril the other night and Poison control said I would be fine ...
not so, I was terribly sick ... I apparently am sensitive to the
quinilone drug family. Re cat's meds tastes, liquid Clindamycin is
vile ... and mixed with an equal amount of tuna juice some cats lap it
up like it is yummy. go figure.

A round of Lixo-tinic for all my friends! The not having to swish
your mouth out afterwards was a good descriptive note. I've tasted
some meds that sent me screaming to the faucet. Let me think about
what else I have around here that you can taste-test for us!

I have Lixo-tinic here (the horse label of the same stuff). I just
tried it. It's
tart and sweet, with a definite metallic aftertaste. It's not
pleasant, but did not
make me gag nor did I need to swish out my mouth afterwards. Try it,
it's not really
that bad!
