Hey guys,

This email was listed on the feline hyperT site. I
know that many of you, like me, use compounded drugs,
like Tapazole or Cyproheptadine, on our furbabies.
Many people depend on compounded drugs for treatment
of themselves or their pets. There is a new
legislation in Congress proposing to curb
compounding pharmacies. The legislation might possibly
affect the treatment of our animals, and it was
suggested that there is a possibility that we will no
longer have access to any compounded drugs in the US
for our pets. I could not get the link to open as we
are having Internet issues, so I'm hoping that is not
true. If it is true, ask the Europeans how they cope
with not being able to use compounded drugs...

Here is an article on Safe Drug Compounding Act of
2007
<http://www.newswise .com/articles/ view/528006/>

and here is P2C2
Action Alert <http://tinyurl. com/2bwx74>
link if you decide to participate. It's easy to send
your legislators an email via this website. You just
have to fill in your personal info. and they base who
it's sent to on your address. The letter is already
prefabricated, but you can change it any way you want
before sending it.

Thanks!
:)
Wendy
