What about Epogen?  Have you tried that?  Also,
Winstrol, a steroid, stimulates red blood cell
production.  Has your vet mentioned that?  A
transfusion can buy your kitty time for other
treatments to work, but it is only temporary.  You
have to have a treatment in mind for Slinky.  The
transfusion only buys time.
