There is no waiting period. The FELV virus dies within minutes to hours outside the cat's body. AIR kills it. Bleach and disinfectants are not needed, just letting it DRY completely kills it. I'm sorry for your loss. But you really don't have anything to worry about. Just change the litterbox, wash it well, and let it dry in the sun, and wash and dry all the bowls, and that's really all that is needed. Beds, perches, etc, cannot carry the virus because they are not wet and warm. Lysol, however is TOXIC to cats, so DON'T try to "disinfect" the carpeted and cloth surfaces, as you'll be doing much more harm than good. It takes time to heal, but when I lost my Moogie girl in 2001, I went out and got another cat to take her place. While Tigger will never be Moogie, he did fill up that big painful hole in my heart with his cute and crazy kitten antics.
