Jenna,

First of all, I agree with everyone else-if you won't help this poor soul,
who will? I'm new to the rescue business and special needs cats, but I'm
finding so much support and help. I know there will be heartbreak in my
future, and I'm often crying when reading everyone's experiences on here-but
just know that you are part of an amazing group of people who's hearts are
so large and benevolent, that they can take almost anything-I know you can
too!

As for information, on another discussion board that I've just recently
joined (but not as focused as you all are on FeLV and special needs
kitties), I think there's a lady with two blind kitties-Cosmo and Cooper.
I'm not quite sure, but she has them as part of her signature. Her user name
is Laura IMOM and the web address is

This website is for people seeking financial assistance for their special
needs animals. I just get advice here-so you don't have to be asking for
money. But, you might be eligible with the new baby. Here's the link to a
post with her name on it-it was one of my topics that she responded too.

I'll also post something for her and see if she responds. I can pass the
info on to you if you'd like.

Best wishes for you, and I hope you can take the poor thing-but you'll know
what to do and what is best for your situation. Just know that there are
many people who would support you emotionally if you decided to take on this
new kitty.
