Would like to add that I got "Taz" when he was 5 weeks old. He was the only
surviving kitten from a litter that was brought in to a kill shelter.
So there was a lot of exposure to my other kitties.
The other kitties that have passed after "Taz" died did not die of Felv.

Baby boy "Taz" was diagnosed with FELV strong positive at 4 months and
retested at 6 months. Results were the same.
He lived to the age of two and a half years old when he passed with
secondary illness. Tumors on the skull and left eye.
He lived with my other negative cats and they have never tested positive.
Their ages range from 4 yrs up 18 yrs of age. Shared litter-boxes, food
dishes, played, and bathe each other. There was 6 other cats living with him
during this time. Separating them wasn't an option.
