This really sucks!  I would have lost faith in them as
well.  Did you ask to speak to a manager and tell them
everything that happened, start to finish?  When this
kind of thing happens, I try to speak to someone
higher up so that they are aware there's a problem and
can fix it.  If I get bad customer service, like at
Walmart (imagine that), I let the manager know and I
usually get very good response, and then they are
aware of a potential customer service issue that can
be corrected.  The service you received was
inexcusable, and I am betting given the opportunity,
they would make it right.
