Hi,
The place is called friends of strays and I guess it
isn't located in Chicago, but I think near. If you
have heard anything about them please let me
know...Here is their website...
www.geocities.com/friendsofstraysshelter.

there is no way I can keep one...I made a promise to
my boyfriend no more pets that I would just foster and
find homes, but not ours. I made that mistake once
and kept 2 older tabby's because I knew they wouldn't
find a home (brothers that are 12 years old and one
has Diabetes). I fell in love and wanted to
keep...boyfriend wasn't pleased, but said yes.

This FeLV+ momma and her babies came from an Amish
farm where they weren't being taken care of at all...I
am sure all of their cats have FeLV because they were
all sick...we just didn't know what they had...a
shelter/sanctuary is better than dying on a farm with
no food and love...
