They've thought of that. We can give FELV and FVRCP vaccines, but rabies shots must be administerd by a veterinarian (not even a vet tech...a veterinarian licensed to practice in the state of TX) or they don't count. I also cannot legally place a cat over the age of 3 months without a valid rabies shot. So even when rescues xfer cats among each other they have to take the cat to the vet for a rabies shot first.
