Hi Jeni and Tad -- I'm waiting for some confirmation tests. I could put her at
my vet's for a day or so which would be in Rockville Centre. I'm still waiting
for more info from the woman and my rescue friend. You guys are great! PAT

I think I could help out and foster her for a week or two, until you get
your new guy acclimated into your home Tad and then meet you in albany or
close to it. I just can't keep her, my husband has offically limited me to
three cats to keep. As long as she has a definate place to go I could take
her in and she could hang out in a play cage (or bathroom depending on how
she is, as long as she isnt a fighter she could hang out in the play cage)
at first and see how she is with my cats (but what if she doesnt like
cats?...what then?) Let me know if that would be helpful, I drive past
queens and work in long island and could pick up the kitty, just as long as
she has a forever home and unfortunately it can not be mine. Let me know if
that helps.
Jeni

I don't think getting to Albany would be a problem. I'm also waiting for
some confirmation results. I guess we could board her for a few days/week
if needed. Not sure of her social status (sounds funny). I'll have to find
out. PAT

Would she be able to get a ride north toward Albany...
Or the north end of Ticonic Paryway ???
Do you know Jeni Reca ?? She lives in that area...
Maybe she could help... Hi Jeni.. if you are there...

I live near Rutland Vermont.. About 60 miles north of Albany...

Also this cat would have to easily adjust to my other pos. cats..

Is it NYC or other part of NY State ???

Also.. How does this kitty act with other kitties ???
My new siamese loves his big isolation cage and it will be a while before
he is ready to give it up...

I just received a call from a friend who has been trying to help an
elderly woman place a FeLV/FIV positive cat. The elderly woman has a cat of
her own. She's convinced her husband that she can find a home but time is
running out. She has to leave town on Monday to provide healthcare for her
sister in NC and her husband won't/doesn't understand there is no risk in
him providing food and shelter for this little girl so basically, she has no
where to go. She doesn't want to put her to sleep but she doesn't know what
else to do. Does anyone have any room or resources? PAT
