Hi, everyone something awful happened to one of my diabetic kitty, Leo -
I boarded him at my vet clinic over night and something awful happened
- they might have gave him (or may not have) too much insulin and his
glucose level got too low - and he was almost in coma yesterday, -
since no one at the clinic over night, we don't know how long he was in
the condition - they gave him injections to bring his glucose up right
away, he became conscious - but he is still having a seizures - the vet
thinks it is probably due to the fact that he was out of oxygen for a
long time..-now he seems to be developing neurogical sign - he can't or
does not want to lay down, but rather stretching his both arms spread
and sleeping flat - and he goes circle when he gets seizures - the vet
think he may overcome it but, there is nothing they can do - maybe fluid
went to his brain or his brain is swollen - he is also running fever -
anyone has any experience about symptoms like this - if you do please
share - I am so devastated as he was just a happy healthy boy before I
took him there!
