I was bitten by my dad's big black fluffy crabbycat Blackie several years ago and I just washed really well and everything was fine. Like yours it wasn't a really brutal bite and the only thing the vet said (and believe me--they are very concerned about bites!) was that IF I noticed red lines running from it head for the doctor.

And I was fine (so was Blackie, ha ha)!

What a great name, Nod!

I was trying to put Nod in his carrier for his dental today and
apparently he didn't want to go. It isn't a terrible bite, but it did
break the skin. He is current on his rabies. Do I wait and hope it
doesn't become infected?
