This is a good point & I wouldn't abandon BF just because of some
moderator's comments. Altho Marion Hale has been there a LONG time. I
don't know about Gina, but Marion has been there at LEAST 10 years. And
NEVER been to the sanctuary! I think to be a moderator that should be
mandatory!

I understand your fear, but I *personally* would not be concerned.
That forum is on the Best Friends Network, which is provided by them
as a service and is not their "official" stance on anything. There is
a disclaimer - "Content is posted freely by website members and may or
may not reflect the opinions, goals, or mission of BFAS." It is
largely volunteer run (I know the volunteer who edits the Texas
community) and there may be a rogue moderator. Certainly I don't
think it has a thing to do with how they take care of their animals.
