My bite was small, but my hand swelled twice its normal size. I soaked it in hot water with epsom salt and alternated with hot water with peroxide. I soaked it as much as I could and would put peroxide on it and neosporin when I finished. It swelled up my arm, but after about 2 weeks it started to heal. I did not have a rabies cert. for this feral cat, so I felt I couldn't go to the doctor. good luck. t
