Melissa -- Rescue Remedy is a homeopathic "essential oils" kind of calming thing -- made with things like valerian root etc. A lot of rescuers swear by it -- not only for their kitties, but for themselves (put a few drops in your drinking water). I've never tried it personally -- though today is one of those days I might be tempted -- but it does seem to calm the cats somewhat, though as with everything, results may vary. ;-) I've seen it sold online and at GNC Nutrition stores. I know a lot of the people here use something called Rescue Remedy to calm down their cats (and themselves). I've been meaning to get it for the next car ride for a few of my "scaredy" cats, but I don't know anything about it. Hope everything is okay with Miles!
