There is a Honoring the Animals Candlelight Vigil on Pet Memorial Day (Sunday, September 9) that is sponsored by Chance's Spot. It will held outdoors, rain or shine, at the Brown-Forman Amphitheater located on River Road east of the Tumbleweed. There will be musical selections and a poetry-reading and a moment of silence. The service is free. Everyone in attendance will have their pet's name read aloud. It's from 7:30-8:30.
I am attending with my mom, in honor of Monkee. Marylyn, if you are able to attend, let me know because I would love to meet you! You have been so helpful to me and it would be great to put a face to a name.
