Do you live where there are emergency clinics? Many's the time I've had to use one of them--fortunately there are quite a few around here. If not, almost all vets have after-hours number so you can call your clinic and talk to whomever has weekend duty.
Or you could try the nearest PetSmart if there are any near you. All the ones around here have a vet clinic attached (Banfield) and stay open later than regular vets.
