Thanks for the information. I have one of these containers that I reuse with other brands of cat litter. I keep the lid shut as well, but in view of this I will get rid of it. What a terrible tragedy.
I almost had a cat hang herself on an apron tie. Another cat was chasing her and somehow she got caught in my apron strings. She would have strangled had I not been there. As it was she went kind of limp on me and I was able to get her free.
