well, i always cry into their fur when they leave, but their being able to leave means i've done my job: turned them from little furballs who weren't sure that anyone would ever love them, to cats who can shine brightly enough to attract their forever homes. so i cry, and give them bus fare home should they need it, and know that while they might have been in my house just a short time, they will always have a spot in my heart.
