what's important about it is that there IS no epidemic, there have been very few confirmed outbreaks in the country, it's extremely rare, many of the suspected cases turned out to be panleuk, and the vaccine that ft dodge (the same company that makes the unproven FIV vaccine that makes all cats test positive for FIV for the rest of its life) is effectively useless--tho they mounted one of the best scare-tactics marketing campaigns a few years back.
the information is there--it occurs in shelters, and when it does occur, it is so virulent it burns out the population in a short amount of time.
