FOR BUGS, especially buffalo gnats, use 1 teaspoon REAL vanilla in 1 quart water. Spray it on the back of the cat's head and under their chin. Works with mosquitos also. Everyone around here who has chickens use this every day on them. If they don't, they loose a lot of chickens.
