Yes a cat can test + for both. FIV is not transmitted through bowls, bedding
etc but through deep bites. FeLV is more contagious but just wash bowls etc.
Don't have to wait six months

FIV I wouldn't worry about ar all. With FeLV it doesn"t live long outside body.
Just wash everything as you would with any new kitry.
