Some people are very desperate to get married for one reason or another. Just 
hope she doesn't have a kid with Down's Syndrome or something like that.  
Husband will probably want to get rid of the kid.

Why would someone marry a "cat hater".  The relationship would not have gotten 
that far if it were me.
