Hi everyone.  Tiger is doing good but he still continues to have a sort of
stuffy nose.  The vet said sinus thing.  No watery eyes at all.  He does have a
sneeze too.  Vet said, and all concurred to have the cat sit in the bathroom
with steam from the shower running.  I have done this but it does not seem to
do anything.  In fact, he sounds more congested from it! ?  I always thought
that hot water closes the sinuses, where cool mist opens them so now i am
running a cool mist.
The cat is FIV pos, so the vet said it may take a while to clear up.  I am
wondering about all this.  Has anyone had any experience with it?  I am also
wondering if the sneeze isn't a parasite thing?  I myself have a cat who had a
cough/sneeze and it turned out to be parasites and he had a special pasty med
he had to take for a week.
Hate to spend money at the vet again but any input?  Thanks, Dotty

So glad he seems to be doing better. Settling in and all. Thank you for
giving him a place to 'chill'!

He's doing quite well.  He eats about a can and a half of food plus he is now
eating his dry food (Iams Hairball Prevention).  He has come out of the closet
where he felt secure for the first 2 days here and is now sleeping in the cat
bed I put on a chair pulled up to the window so he could look out at the
interesting critters and birds. He seems a lot stronger than the night he was
brought here. His eyes are clear, no gunk in the morning.  I flea combed him
yesterday and he doesn't have any fleas or flea dirt that I could see.  He's
getting Nutra Ved twice daily.

Spay and Neuter your cats and dogs and your weird relatives and nasty neighbors
too!
