I have two that experience this occasionally. One responds to baby food and a/d fed by syringe, and the other, cyproheptadine. Sometimes all they need is an assist to get over the hump. They do get a Vet check to acertain that nothing else is going on, a fluid bolus and B-12 injection, as well as oral DMG and Pet-Tabs Iron plus. Sometimes prednisolone can jumpstart appetite, and make a cat feel much better.
It's worth a shot to give them a chance to recover. I hope that your outcome is a good one.
