That is correct. If you read my original post, it describes how after my cat responded wonderfully to this drug (after being given a death sentence with his feline leukemia diagnosis) the internal medicine expert who had been treating my cat, told me that I had gone "old school" in using the drug. In speaking with my regular vet, it appears that when reports of possible liver damage surfaced, all the vets stopped using it, without looking any closer into the validity of the liver damage reports and without having alternative effective drugs to prescribe in situations like FeLeuk cats.
