Back in the 70-80's, there was at leat one Swiss Chalet in Fort Lauderdale, FL. 
I loved it, both chicken and ribs. Looks as if the last one in the US closed in 
2010.

I also have good luck with supermarket rotisserie chicken. No idea why :(
