Hi everyone. I am cross-posting this for a lady on the "no kill cat shelter"
list on egroups. If anyone can help, please let her know.

At our vet. right now, we have
Cantelope, a super sweet orange and white stray who was hit by a car.
He has spinal cord damage and no feeling in his tail. Tomorrow his tail
will be amputated, because he is dragging it behind him and it's getting messy
from his feces. He will also need his bladder expressed 2 times daily for
possibly the rest of his life. Sounds dreadful, I know, but here is the
rest. Other than that, he CAN lead a normal life. The vet.
assures us he won't miss his tail and he'll have no trouble walking or
defecating. This is one absolutely lovable cat!! He adores everyone
and cares about nothing except being loved. We need help!! Does
anyone know someone who may have the compassion to give this guy a home?
At this point we'll even take foster care for him. We really would like to
avoid caging him at our shelter and our fosters are all filled up right
now. Any ideas would be appreciated!! We're about 50 miles
northwest of Phila., PA.
Thanks!!!! Deb
