I absolutely think you should go for it. I worked at a nursing home from
89-95 & I used to take my Sammy w/ me once in a while. The residents loved
her & she isnt even that friendly! Just call & ask to talk to the activity
director & she should be able to help you set it up. I wouldn't worry too
much about Annie catching something. Odds are against it. Is Annie FeLV+?
The place where I worked ended up getting 2 cats for their Alzheimers unit.
I think the pets really are good for the residents in so many ways. Good
