Miya,

I am glad he is doing better. Two things: there is a lady on the no kill
cat shelter list who volunteers at a shelter where they have a cat whose
bladder has to be expressed twice a day for the rest of his life (hit by a
car). Pixel might be a special case b/c he is so tender, but could you guys
maybe do it at home when you're there instead of so many vet trips? Deb said
she learned really quick- all the volunteers did- so that Cantaloupe could
live. You could ask your vet if she could show you, but like I said, if
she's finding it difficult to do herself and has to sedate him, it may not be
an option.

The other thing is that it is probably good that he is alone and can't smell
the other animals b/c it would probably be very stressful for him (even more
so than it already is). I am sure he is lonely for his family, but I
wouldn't feel bad a/b him being isolated from others at the vet. Hope that
makes you feel a little better :)

Jamie
