I have had a *bunch* of cats who like to chew cardboard - often I will tape a 
box shut and cut a square hole in one side, for a cat-sized space - it seems 
that cats just love to retreat, like a hermit crab - and some of them will 
chew on the opening to round it off and enlarge it.

Figure it's normal behavior - but - why not? buy Charmed a chewtoy and let us 
know if he likes it! Another dimension of cat accessories! another way to 
spoil our cats! Whee!
